We create vegan bath and body products using natural ingredients and essential oils. Miss Patisserie was founded in 2009 by Charlotte Ridgwell whose great love for beauty, wellbeing, design and art inspired her to create quality products for bath, body and home. Charlotte’s interest in creating products came by chance after purchasing a ‘Make it Yourself’ bath bomb kit. At the time she was working as an aromatherapist and unfortunately broke her leg which forced her to take time off work for 6 weeks. After selling her ‘Cupcake’ bath bombs at a number of local fayres, Charlotte approached local gift shops and pharmacies to see if they wanted to stock Miss Patisserie. The response was extremely positive and trade accounts were placing regular orders. ‘I wanted to take the product nationwide so I paid for a small stand at the Home & Gift trade show in Yorkshire, England. I opened 75 accounts at that show and since then the company has gone from strength to strength’. As a trained aromatherapist, Charlotte understands how important good quality ingredients are and also the enormity of benefits natural ingredients can have for healthy skin, body and mind. Today the consumer is a lot more aware of what goes into skin and beauty products, which we think is a fantastic thing and aim to expand awareness even more!
