Volunteering Matters creates volunteering and learning opportunities that enable people to have a positive stake in society and tackle barriers to community participation. Social justice is at the heart of what we believe and what we do. Acting both locally and nationally we mobilised over 30,000 volunteers. Volunteering Matters, leading UK volunteering in policy and practice. Volunteers make a difference to individuals and communities by supporting families in difficulty, young people leaving care, disabled and vulnerable adults and older people.
