YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity championing the wellbeing and mental health of young people. www.youngminds.org.uk We exist so that young people have the strongest possible voice in improving their mental health. We strive to make sure everything, from Government policy to practice in schools and services, is driven by young people’s experiences and aspirations. We support parents to help their children through difficult times, we equip professionals to provide the best possible support to the young people that they work with, and we empower young people to change their world. Our Goals To keep ourselves focused and on track, we’ve set out 4 key strategic aims: 1. Foster innovation to meet the needs of vulnerable and excluded children and young people. 2. Promote good mental health to more children and young people than ever before. 3. Champion the voices of young people and parents to influence mental health policy and practice. 4.
